Images show grading and preparation of tracks at the museum site, moving locomotives into position, the shipment of a 1917 Army locomotive from Korea (with relevant telegrams and newsclippings), Native Americans at the ceremony, a school band, crowds, a banquet, details of engines, a steam excursion train from Milwaukee, and a fireman at work in a locomotive. Many of the photographs are by Lefebvre-Luebke of Green Bay. Eight additional photographs in PH 2337 made in 1961 primarily show interior views of the exhibits.
